So we’re thrilled to share another Yuan Qigong Workshop with you, led by our very own Osteopath – Isabelle Ferré. In addition to Osteopathy, Isabelle has spent the last seven years studying Qigong and has been teaching regular classes for over 3 years.

What is Yuan Qigong and Ren Yuan?

Yuan Qigong is a time-honoured practice that harnesses the power of Qi, our inner life force energy. Stemming from traditional Chinese medicine, this gentle yet powerful regimen combines rhythmic movements, breathing exercises, and concentrated intention to nurture and balance Qi throughout the body.

Ren Yuan is the third method in the Yuan Qigong system. This method involves specific movements while cultivating an unique mind-body awareness, allowing the experience of deep stillness, relaxation and connection with oneself. With practice, one comes to feel the beauty and stillness within every movement. Out of the 9 methods in Yuan Qigong, Ren Yuan is the one that is the most physical as it stretches, strengthens and works on all parts of the body.

What will the workshop feature?

Who Should Participate?

This workshop, like its predecessor, welcomes participants of all levels—whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or new to the practice. Regardless of fitness level, experience, age, or focus abilities, everyone can find value in the transformative teachings of Ren Yuan. If you find it difficult to stand for more than 30 minutes attending a workshop on Tian Yuan and Di Yuan instead is recommended.
