Join us in welcoming world-renowned Clinical Psychologist and author Marie de Hennezel.

Throughout her career, Marie has been an advocate for a more humane approach to death and dying, challenging the fear and denial that often surround this subject in contemporary society. She encourages a more open dialogue about death in cultural, societal, and medical contexts, supporting initiatives that help people age with grace and live their final days with dignity and without unnecessary suffering.

She is the author of two ministerial reports on end-of-life care in France and over 20 books, including the international bestseller Intimate Death (Seize the Day) and The Warmth of Your Heart Prevents Your Body from Rusting. She lectures extensively around the world on end of life care and ageing well.

Marie will host an honest and open conversation about living well and dying well, and you are invited!

This gentle and enlightening conversation will be co-hosted by Whangārei resident and founder of Go With Grace, Katy Mandeno. Go With Grace is a new resource to guide and support New Zealanders through their experiences with death and dying, offering a collection of information, services, resources and stories to support anyone facing their own passing, or the death of a loved one.

This is a free community event – registrations essential.
