Alex Davie

Osteopath

Alex is an osteopath with a background in movement therapy and a strong interest in helping people move with greater ease, confidence and resilience. He holds a Master’s degree in Osteopathy from the UK and has practiced clinically in both England and New Zealand.

Alex takes a whole-person approach to care, recognising that pain and dysfunction rarely exist in isolation. His treatments aim not only to reduce pain, but also to restore movement quality and support long-term health.

With additional certifications in natural movement through MovNat, breathing-based training with The Oxygen Advantage, and personal training with Wim Hof, Alex blends traditional osteopathic principles with a practical, movement-focused approach. This allows him to address the underlying causes of pain while helping patients rebuild strength, awareness and confidence in their bodies.

Alex has a particular interest in musculoskeletal pain, postural issues, rehabilitation after injury, and supporting people who feel “stuck” with ongoing pain or restriction. He works collaboratively with patients, tailoring care to each individual’s needs and goals.

Outside the clinic, Alex enjoys surfing, spending time outdoors and practising bushcraft. He believes the body is adaptable, intelligent and capable of change at any stage of life, and this philosophy underpins the way he treats and supports his patients.
